October 10th 2025. Municipal elections debate by Urbania: The three main candidate for the election of November 2nd had a debate over their projects for the city if elected. A demonstration for Palestine happened simultaneously outside the premises. Members of the Palestine Youth Movement interrupted the debate to express their concerns over the lack of engagement with the issue.
October 10th 2025. Municipal elections debate by Urbania: a demonstration is taking place outside of Urbania's offices. Police are protecting the building and guarding the entry. Behind the window, Soraya Ferrada Martinez's associate is waiting for the way to clear.
October 10th 2025. Municipal elections debate by Urbania: Member of Palestine Youth Movement erupted during the debate. "Are you going to acknowledge what is happening outside or are you going to stay silent Palestine" she said. The animator of the evening offered to address the issue but the activist left. The debate kept going without a comment on what just happened.
September 28th 2025: The Wushu and lion dance team Montreal Legacy is getting ready to take the stage for the 76th anniversary of the popular Chinese republic. The event was meant to showcase culture and keep heritage present in the Canadian diaspora.
August 24th, 2025: Ukrainian independence day. Ukrainians occupied the Place d'Armes to celebrate the 34th anniversary of the independence of the country.
August 24th, 2025: Ukrainian independence day. The group Fier Québec held a meeting at the same time hoping to protest the muslim payers taking place on the Place d'Armes. The conservative group was stand by while Ukrainian dances and speeches were performed.
